The HSA at SMI is a volunteer group of parents, teachers and family members who go above and beyond just bake sales and holiday parties.

When a water main broke and flooded the building in 2010, the HSA had crews organized and working to “save our school” within minutes.  In addition, the HSA raised enough money to provide SMI with a new industrial dishwasher and floor-cleaning device.  These efforts — among others — were acknowledged by the National Catholic Education Association with a Certificate of Recognition for organizing fundraisers for the benefit of the entire school. 

Through their dedication, determination and devotion, the HSA exemplifies SMI’s strong sense of community and conviction.

HOME ROOM PARENTS

Launching in Fall 2017, the HSA will be recruiting parents for the brand new Home Room Parent Program. Information on this exciting program will be available after September 22, 2017.
