The Enhancing Education Through Technology grant has greatly enhanced our technology program at Saint Mary's Institute. Tuesdays for Teachers professional development courses have provided opportunities to all the Saint Mary's Institute faculty to improve their technology skills, interact with new hardware and software, and develop curriculum projects that integrate a variety of computer skills.

| Funds were provided through this grant
to purchase new hardware. There are now two Numonics
interactive whiteboards available for classroom instruction.
One board is used regularly in the middle school math classroom, and
the other is creating great excitement in the computer lab.

This grant also paid for additional licenses for
SuccessMaker Enterprise. This program "is a learning
environment that offers a powerful combination of management system,
assessment, and curriculum resources to provide administrators,
teachers, and students with tools to improve academic performance."
For the past three years, Saint Mary's students have worked
regularly on the Math Concepts and Skills component and the
various reading components. Most also find time to explore science
